The Guntersville Museum is excited to announce its upcoming Re-Defining the Craft: Urban Fiber Art Exhibit. New takes on traditional fiber crafts on display including yarn art, upcycled textile creations and fiber techniques from all over the world.
Join us in creating a community textile piece that will include all forms of needle craft and fiber craft with work sessions on Saturdays lead by Michelle Reynolds of Textiles & Texts in Birmingham. Penny Maddox will share stories and equipment from her collection and worldwide travels. This exhibit will run July 20-September 3. Admission is free. The Museum is open Tuesday-Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
