Entrepreneurship continues to be a topic of interest outlined in the community development area during the grassroots meetings. This offering gives a sound overview of the existing small business/entrepreneurship ecosystem in Alabama and would help identify ideas, possibilities, and resources to connect current and future community leaders and curricula.

Notes:Presented by the Government & Economic Development Institute (GEDI) at Auburn University, the “Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development” course, a component of the GEDI-EDAA Leadership Institute certification program, will be held November 9, 2023, online via Zoom and in-person at the Lee County Training Facility, which is located at 205 South 10th Street, Opelika, AL 36801. The course’s sessions will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on this date.
