First Day Hike, at Lake Guntersville State Park

Join park staff for a rewarding First Day Hike!

We will hike our golf course loop trail that begins at the lodge and ends at the Benny BoBo Overlook with magnificent views of Lake Guntersville. The trail begins in the pine forest at the top of Taylor Mountain and wraps all the way around the Eagle Nest Golf Course, crossing over many creeks and giving astonishing views for the whole hike!

This 3- mile hike is considered moderate.

Each participant will receive an AL State Parks First Day Hike sticker at the end of the hike!
