On Friday the 26th of July 2024, the Niña & Pinta will open in Guntersville, AL. The Ship’s will be docked at Guntersville City Harbor, 29 Paddle Wheel dr. Guntersville, AL, 35976. Both Ship’s will be open Thursday through Sunday only while in Port until their departure August 19th. The Niña was built completely by hand and without the use of power tools. Archaeology magazine called the ship “the most historically correct Columbus replica ever built.” Historians consider the “Caravel” the space shuttle of the 15th Century and was used as early as the 13th Century and into the 16th Century. Today, both ships tour together as a floating museum for the purpose of educating the public and school children on the Caravel, a Portuguese ship used by Columbus and many early explorers during the “Age of Exploration”.

The general public is invited to step back in time & explore the Niña & Pinta for self guided tours from 9:00a-5:00p. No reservations are necessary. Tickets are purchased at the Ship’s location and prices are $10.00 for Adults, $9.00 for Seniors (60+), and $8.00 for Children/Military (5 – 18). Children 4 and under are Free. PRICE INCLUDES BOTH SHIPS.
